Giving back to our artisans and their communities
Topaca is run by a Maya family, and everything we sell is made by our artisans. Besides fair pay and steady work all year, part of every sale goes to two projects: one for our artisans and their families, and one for remote communities in the highlands of Sololá.

End of the Year Gathering
Once a year we bring all our artisans and their families together for a day of celebration. We share lunch, play games and enjoy entertainment and activities, and every artisan receives a gift.
We also hold a photo session, so each family takes home a portrait of the day.

Every year · Highlands of Sololá
Community Gift Back
We travel to remote villages in the highlands of Sololá, where many families have very little, and hand out clothes, food, toys and gifts to children, their parents and other adults.
Our goal is to reach more people every year and share a small gift with the poorer areas near us.
